Ivy Engine (Physically-Based Rendering, Image-Based Lighting, HDRI Environments)

Introduction of the PBR workflow (as per this paper) allows Ivy to model much more realistic materials and scene lighting behaviour according to the metalness and roughness of a material’s surface at each fragment.

I have also implemented IBL and as a consequence of this, the ability to import and use real-world HDRI environment maps which add a further sense of life and scale to a scene.
